How do I get started with Scout?
Sign up at app.supplyscout.ai and Scout walks you through a 5-minute setup conversation — it learns your restaurant locations, suppliers, and budget. No training or data entry required. From there, snap a photo of your next invoice and Scout begins monitoring prices and catching errors automatically.
How does invoice scanning work?
Upload a photo or PDF of any supplier invoice. Scout reads every line item, total, and vendor detail, then benchmarks each price against live USDA market data and your own purchase history. Mispriced items, duplicate charges, and unexpected spikes are flagged so you can catch overcharges before you pay.
How does Scout recommend cheaper suppliers?
Scout compares the prices you actually pay across every vendor you buy from, and against market benchmarks. When a cheaper, comparable source exists for an item, Scout surfaces it with the math behind the savings. On Pro and Autonomous plans, Scout can recommend — or, with your approval, act on — supplier switches and reorders.
How am I billed, and can I cancel?
Plans start at $59/month and are billed through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account billing settings — there's no long-term contract and no card is required to start. Cancellation stops future charges and remains in effect through the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request account deletion from your account settings, or email us at support@supplyscout.ai. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, invoices, uploaded documents, suppliers, and associated data from our systems. We'll confirm once the deletion is complete.
